A national computerized protocol for the procedure of Spinal Endoscopy (also known as Epiduroscopy) has been developed and approved by four Italian leading departments of pain medicine in September 2008.
This constitutes the Italian Register On Spinel Endoscopy (IROSE).
The tremendous need for outcome documentation in minimally invasive pain procedures is well known. Pain relief, function and quality of live are just some of the variables that we are monitoring. Our efforts hopefully will contribute to clear some obscure aspects of this technique that still persist.
We expect to have in Italy a large number of pain centers performing Spinal Endoscopy joining our protocol. Do not hesitate to contact our office (info@simed.net) in case you decide to get more information or to join our protocol.
The Register is available at www.tindocare.net
